 
Don't miss the exciting agility, frisbee, working and splash dog demos and training hints. What about dog shows - come and see how to get involved in showing and learn the ins and outs. Also we can't forget about our service dogs - demos on K9 units and search and rescue will showcase these special dogs. A variety of dog breeds will give demonstrations plus you can bring home a special dog from the adoption/rescue row. Shopping is a must in the Dogs Pavilion with hundreds of booths selling everything needed for your dog; from dog food to crystal collars and everything in between. Attendees can send in their favorite dog photo to be a part of our photo wall called "Workin' Like a Dog" on display in the Dogs Pavilion. Artists can participate in the Equine Dream Art Show as it has been opened up to include artwork depicting canines.

"Come to Uncle Matty," verbalized in high-pitched dogeese by Matthew Margolis, is a phrase known to thousands of dogs all over the United States, who have been befriended and trained by this renowned author and trainer. Also a dog behavior expert, authority on aggressive dogs, syndicated columnist, and popular radio and television guest, Margolis (Uncle Matty) is the host of the PBS television series, WOOF! It's a Dog's Life. Matthew Margolis began his dog-training career in 1968 and established The National Institute of Dog Training which became one of the largest dog training facilities in the United States. Matthew works with dogs and their owners all over the United States and beyond through his personal training, phone consultations and self help programs all featuring training and problem solving with love, praise and affection. He has a network of experienced professional trainers.
Workin' Like a Dog Photo Wall Western States Horse Expo will be hosting a “Workin’ Like a Dog” display in the Dogs Pavilion. If you have a picture of your beloved four legged friend struttin’ his stuff or at work then please fill out this form and send us your picture. Please include an unframed 8x10 picture of your dog with this entry form and mail it to the address on the form. Pictures will not be returned so please make sure you have your own copy.
Jarden Animal Solutions, makers of Oster Professional Products and the RapidBath pet bathing system will be grooming and bathing rescue dogs in the Horse Expo Dog Pavilion. At the same time, award-winning professional groomers will be demonstrating all types of grooming and handling techniques for the public to see. They will be using clippers and blades, brushes, combs, nail grinders and more. Visit the JARDEN ANIMAL SOLUTIONS booth and take home great how-to knowledge and the best products to care for your pet. Best of all, every dog they bathe and groom will be up for adoption through attending rescue groups.
