WSHE Presents Speaker Reed Messer

Reed Messer is a Pennsylvania State 4-H Horse Program member of the Lucky 7 4-H Club outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is also a member of Team Horsepower, a horsemanship skills leadership program for teens. Reed enjoys competing in the Ranch Horse classes with his partner Cash and was a Pennsylvania State Horse Show Qualifier last year in Obstacle Trail, Jr. In addition to riding his horse, Reed really enjoys virtual reality video games and was excited to participate in the DIVE4AG Challenge with Oregon State University. Reed hopes to continue to share his experience with horses and to encourage other teens to not let being different stop them from doing what they love.
