The Horse Expo is honored to welcome Dr. Craig Scott Niblett, a performance horse veterinarian out of Austin, Texas, as a speaker at the 2023 university educational program. Dr. Niblett is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and owns and operates both Equine Veterinary Services and Veterinary Medical Lab, Inc out of central Texas. Dr. Niblett’s focus is on sports medicine and lameness in show horses across many disciplines- hunter/jumper, reining, cutting, and roping. Dr. Niblett has been the attending show veterinarian at many AQHA World & Congress events and is the head veterinarian for Baylor University equestrian team. Dr. Niblett stays on the cutting edge of sports medicine and is a wealth of knowledge when working on complex cases with advanced diagnostics. In his spare time, Dr. Niblett enjoys doing mission trips, deep sea fishing, or spending time with his wife and two children.
