Learn all about leather braiding from Gail Hought of Hought Fine Art & Leather. Gail will be there for the 4 days and invites you to look for the Hought Fine Art and Leather booth where she will be teaching leather braiding classes.
There will be one 3 hour class in the morning and one in the afternoon. Morning sessions are from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM; afternoon sessions are from 2 PM – 5 PM. Each session is limited to 2 students.
*Upon enrollment on this page or by phone, 707-599-9493, there will be a $100 fee. Feel free to enroll in more than one session.
Materials supplied include pre-cut fully prepared strings and a mandrel, which you will take home. Tools are supplied. Bring your braiding questions as well, I will be happy to answer them.

*Are you interested in learning to braid a Bosal? I would be happy to provide instruction on the noseband and the heel knot, both their groundwork and braiding. These would be taught in sections and could be a way for you to get started.
