Jonathan Field is a renown international clinician, with sold out clinics wherever he goes.
Jonathan grew up in both English and Western saddles before becoming a full-time cowboy on one of the largest cattle ranches in Canada. Helping people who are just starting with horses and all the way up to elite competitors, his program is practical and effective.
Jonathan and his methods have been featured on national television including CBS and the Red Bull Media House; he is also a two-time Road to the Horse Finalist, where he received the highly respected Jack Brainard Horseman’s award. He has written dozens of articles for major equine magazines including Western Horseman, Horse Illustrated, Horse and Rider Magazine, the Canadian Horse Journal and many more. He is also the published author of “The Art of Liberty Training for Horses” and has produced more than a dozen digital training films.
In a recent TEDx talk Jonathan shared the gripping personal story of how his decision to become a horseman was brought about as the result of a near-death accident where his left arm was amputated at the wrist, and what the ordeal taught him about facing challenges in life.
Since then, Jonathan has helped many people during their struggles because he understands what it is like for them and their horses to not only overcome obstacles, but also thrive and find fulfillment along the way.
His Home Study DVD program offers proven practical steps to help people reach their dreams with their horses. And in a prestigious nod to Jonathan’s expertise, his program has become required training for the Vancouver Police Mounted Unit.
Jonathan has motivated and educated thousands of people around the world who are also “Inspired by Horses!”
