Lindsey Close is the current Operations Manager of Elk Grove Milling, Inc. and recently became a Certified Legacy Nutrition Advisor through equine nutritionist, Dr. Rachel Mottet, PhD. She is also a certified professional animal scientist through the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists and obtained her B.S. from CSU Fresno in Animal Science with an emphasis in Equine Production.

Lindsey Close also owns a private boarding facility, specializing in senior care & show horse retirement. She loves all breeds, but thoroughbreds and rescues have a special place in her heart. She has ridden dressage, hunter/jumpers, rode with The California Cowgirls Rodeo Drill Team, and recently began her ranch riding and working equitation journey. She is also part of the Liberty Belles Flag Team with her horses Hanz (APHA) and Vanna (AQHA). Lindsey is passionate about staying current with new research and preventative maintenance, including nutrition, for the sport horse.

Lindsey will be putting on a Body Condition Score workshop, discuss identifying and feeding for different activity levels, and establishing Senior status, etc.
