The goal of the UC Davis Equine Medicine Club is to enhance experiences for equine veterinary students at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine by providing extracurricular activities that allow hands-on exposure to equine medicine, reproduction, surgery, and more.
As an established chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) the group strives to increase equine welfare awareness within the local community through direct outreach efforts, investment in education, and service towards the betterment of the equine community.
Whether you are just starting to think about your career, or have a goal of becoming a veterinarian, the veterinary students of the UC Davis Equine Medicine Club are excited to provide information about the University of California, Davis application process, their personal journeys to becoming “Aggies”, and their passion for equine medicine.
