Hawley Bennett-Awad is a highly accomplished Canadian event rider, renowned for her success in international competitions. With a career spanning over two decades, she has represented Canada at multiple senior championship events, including the Olympics, World Equestrian Games, and Pan American Games.
Some of her notable achievements representing Team Canada include multiple Team Silvers and individual top-10 finishes at the Pan American Games, a Team Silver at the 2010 World Equestrian Games and competing at both the 2004 Athens Olympics and 2012 London Olympics and serving as a reserve for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
 Out of the saddle, she is deeply involved in promoting equestrian sport and is known for her commitment to the development of eventing in Canada. She continues to inspire the next generation of riders through coaching, training, and as an advocate for the sport’s growth and inclusivity.
