I started volunteering at Fort Bragg riding stables in Fayetteville NC when I was 9 years old. From that moment on I knew horses were going to be in my life. When I was 13 I struck interest in training and started studying, attending clinics, and apprenticing under other local trainers in my area. By the time I was 15 I acquired my first mustang and never looked back. By the age of 18 I was volunteering and perform compliance checks for the Bureau of Land Management doing whatever I could to learn about policies, wild horses, and how I could help. In 2020 I was privileged to be accepted into the Mustang heritage foundation-Trainer Incentive Program. I successfully gentled and placed many mustangs in good homes. Today I continue to pursue the proper care, treatment, and gentle training of wild horses with my 2 daughters and husband also with the support from our entire family. Training horses is my passion and I’m forever grateful for what the wild horses have taught me and the un-breakable loyalty my personal mustangs show me.
