Originally from Winnipeg, Dr. Lauren Charnock received her DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, and completed a rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island. She completed her residency in comparative ophthalmology and a Master of Science at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, with her research focusing on equine corneal surgery. Dr. Charnock is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Veterinary Ophthalmology at the University of California, Davis. While she enjoys the comparative nature of veterinary ophthalmology, Dr Charnock has a specific interest in equine patients.
