Haley Esteves is 19 years old and currently a student at Sierra College. She has been around and riding horses her entire life because both her parents are farriers, and her mother also is a trainer. Haley started her first horse when she was 13. Today she competes in reining with him. Haley started endurance riding when she was 11. In the past 8 years she has completed 805 miles—405 of those miles were on a mustang. She also has finished the Tevis Cup. In 2022, when she was 15, she participated in her first Trainer Incentive Program (TIP) Challenge in Sacramento where she won Overall Youth Trainer. In 2023, she participated in the Sacramento TIP Challenge and again won Overall Youth Trainer. She is now starting her 2023 TIP Challenge horse under saddle. In her spare time, Haley trains horses professionally and has started working as a farrier.
