Learn how to make your own 12 plait braids with Kayleen Johnson of Rebel Headdress handcrafted horse tack. There will be one workshop per day, starting at 10 am and ending at 1:45 pm with a 30-45 minute break in the middle. Each workshop is limited to two students. This class will focus on the 12 strand herringbone braid, and students will braid their own corded neck rope to take home. All materials are provided, and up to 6 colors can be chosen for your project. Class offers personal instruction on braiding technique and troubleshooting; as well as project planning from start to finish.
To enroll in the braiding workshop, please send email to [email protected] – or – call (530)409-0152. $150 enrollment fee reserves your seat and day. Feel free to enroll in more than one session. *Please note, enrollment fee is non-refundable*
☆ Alternate projects are available by request, please inquire. If a student would rather make themselves a set of loop reins, a lead rope, or a dog leash, I will be happy to accommodate. However, please be aware that these bigger projects may not be able to be completed within the given class time frame.
