Phillip is a USEF R judge in Hunter/Equitation/Hunter Breeding, officiating at major shows throughout the USA and Canada for over a decade. As a trainer and coach, Phillip has trained riders at all levels, from local championships to some of the major shows on the East Coast.

Phillip believes horses generally want to please us, and that the role of an instructor is to help the rider communicate correctly so that the desired response can be achieved.

One of Phillip’s beliefs is that every horse has a place in the Hunter/Eq ring, but that we need to determine what the best place or divisions may be so that both horse and rider achieve success.
