We Need Volunteers!

Western States Horse Expo would like to invite you to be a part of the “Nation’s Finest Horse Expo”.

We have a group of knowledgeable and passionate individuals that make our Horse Expo such a successful event and we would like you on our team.

The Western States Horse Expo offers a fantastic opportunity for horse enthusiasts to get involved as volunteers!

Here’s a summary of what you need to know:

Volunteer Benefits:
- Free Admission & Parking: Volunteering gives you free admission to the Horse Expo. One four-hour shift earns a one-day pass, and two four-hour shifts earn a three-day pass.
- Souvenir Merchandise: All volunteers will receive a logo-wear gift.
- Meals: Snacks and beverages are provided in the Volunteer Office.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Shifts: You must volunteer for at least one four-hour shift, and working two shifts (totaling eight hours) earns you three days of admission. You can spread these shifts across different days or work multiple shifts in one day.
- Age Restrictions: Most volunteer positions require participants to be 18 or older. However, youth aged 12-17 can assist with specific tasks. Please contact us directly to discuss Youth Opportunities for individuals or groups.
- Release Form: All volunteers must sign a release of liability form at the event.
Scheduling:
- If possible, please review the Expo schedule before signing up. While efforts are made to accommodate individual scheduling preferences, there are no guarantees.
- Complete the Volunteer Sign-Up Form by May 1, 2025. After this date, volunteers will be scheduled based on preference and sign-up order.
Important Notes:
- Volunteer roles focus on event production rather than direct interaction with horses.
- A confirmation letter detailing your schedule and responsibilities will be sent approximately two weeks before the event.
